Pollyanna was shot at 6:00 AM at my lake house. By 7:00 AM we had coffee on, make-up completed and we had run a car into her car, damaging the right side of her prized hybrid. Not the best start for a 6:00 AM call. Then the shots began. It was magic. She was stunning as the morning fog burned off.

Growing up in Portugal and Colombia encouraged an independent spirit in Pollyanna McIntosh from a young age. After her family moved back to their native homeland of Scotland, a modeling agent noticed McIntosh, bringing about a move to London at the age of sixteen.

A successful modeling career took her all over the world and soon she had cameos in films such as The Fifth Element and Irvine Welsh's The Acid House. After graduating with honors in drama and theatre studies from London's University of Surrey she became involved in the London theatre scene both as an actress and director and acted in several independent movies.

Since her move to Los Angeles her roles have had delicious variety. She plays the conniving moralist, Stacy in Headspace; the title role in 9 Lives of Mara with Patrick Bauchau in which she is the child's nightmare of a stepmother, kick ass Russian rock goddess, Varela in All Ages Night, CIA operative Katya Zemanova in Bats 2, lesbian astronaut Thumper Wint in Daniel Water's Sex and Death 101 where she seduces Simon Baker and she can next be seen as a sexy cave girl in Land of the Lost with Will Ferrell for Universal Pictures. She has retained roots to her theatrical background, directing and producing plays at both The Hudson and Second Stage theaters in Hollywood as well as acting on the stage.

In 2004 McIntosh was named model of the year by Britain's cutting edge magazine "The Face" after being personally chosen by Nick Knight for the Pirelli calendar and for a dramatic 16-page spread in British Vogue. She continues to model on occasion for photographers such as Knight and renowned Brit photographer, David Bailey.

She is writing her first screenplay, a comedy, Model Citizen, based on her experiences in the fashion industry. In addition she is co-producing the feature Junk about a family of taxidermists living in a junk yard who lose their dear family member, an over-sized Saint Bernard.
