Omarosa The Ultimate Fashionista
Lady O. Works Her Threads

AND Magazine image
Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth is widely known as one of reality TV’s most controversial figures. From her beginnings on NBC’s The Apprentice to Oxygen’s Girls Behaving Badly, this no-nonsense diva has turned heads from day one with her spiciness.

TV One’s The Ultimate Merger, her most recent gig, showed a softer side of America’s Favorite Ice Queen as she tried to find true love among 12 bachelors handpicked by her mentor, Donald Trump. In the midst of fiery debates, double dates, and dramatic twists, Omarosa still managed to pique interests with her style.

1) Solid Sophistication
Save the frilly patterns and flower prints. Clearly, Omarosa believes in the power of chic. The celebrity frequently dons a single color at a time; two (three’s pushing it), if it fits the occasion. The effect is twofold. Her outfits display an incomparable richness while also adhering to the golden rule: “Don’t complicate things; keep it simple.”

2) Bright Equals Bold
Although she’s a stickler for solids, Omarosa’s not afraid to splash on some brightness. Whites, neons, and warm colors are usually at the front of Lady O’s closet. The shades brilliantly complement her chocolate skin tone and project her lively yet intense personality.

3) Less is More
Accessories are used sparingly. Viewers will rarely find a piece of jewelry hanging around the bachelorette’s neck, a clutter of bracelets dangling from her wrist or bulky pins nestled in her hair. In this area, her declaration to stay unfussy in fashion rings true again, and the effortless quality she presents outshines those who make desperate attempts to stand out.

Whether Omarosa’s praised or criticized in the spotlight, chances are it won’t be for what she’s wearing. Her eye for style remains as consistent as her steely exterior. Like it or not, you better respect it.
