Barack Obama's State of the Union Address has caused a brash response from Republican Party insider's right out of the starting gate. A case can be made for just about every talking point, either for or against Obama. According to a poll provided by Yahoo asking its audience the question "if they felt Obama had made the case for a second term?" and of the more than 16,300 respondents, 63 percent said he should get another four years. Looking back at Obama's election trail to the White House, his campaign was the most human to be witnessed since John F. Kennedy ran for president in the spring of 1960. Never before had a president united a much divided America since Abraham Lincoln. During Barack Obama's tenure as President, America has never looked so united, but felt so divided. Barack Obama entered the American Presidential Arena at a time when Americans were going broke, loosing their homes, and declaring bankruptcy during one of America's darkest financial times since the tech market crashed in the early 2ooo's. G.W. Bush had just declared we continue to fight the "Ten Year War" causing the cost of gasoline to skyrocket once more. Americans were desperate for change, what happened? Does America really want the kind of change
Mitt Romney or
Newt Gingrich want to bring to America?
A cause can be made for Obama's spending, according to Obama. But according to Conservatives who've recklessly called Obama the "Welfare President" wealth should not be redistributed. But the key in understanding Obama's so called redistribution of wealth, is that he has redistributed it to the American people (who in need of putting all pride aside, need it) and not the so called indigent or purposely unemployed "poor classes". According to the California Unemployment Development Depar
Trying to repair the largest economy in human history or blatantly dividing the American people? | | |
tment there are currently two million, twenty one thousand and two hundred (2,021,200) unemployed Americans. The 2010 United States Census states that population of Los Angeles County is nine million, eight hundred and eighteen thousand, six hundred and five (9,818,605) people; of which 50.3% of them are White with 8.7% of them being Black, 47.7% of them Hispanic or Latino and 13.7% Asian.
In response to the Republican GOP's assertion that Obama has tried to divide America and to the Republicans tight gripped refusal to acknowledge what has become a desperate need for financial freedom, for the American people: America is an already divided place, what we needed from Obama (and still need) is an abolition of class disparity via lack of unequal job opportunities, basic needs and education. As hard as it may be for some American's to admit it, your mortgage is not the only thing that's under water, America is. Despite the ambitions of Obama to run for a second presidency and despite a brackish response from Republican Mitch Daniels (Indiana) that only served to sway American opinions toward a Republican candidate; It will be up to American's to band together and paddle upstream for what's to be a very interesting decade.
