Willard "Mitt" Romney, born into wealth, has probably never lived in dissolute and impoverished conditions. Conditions not chosen by inaction or a lack of motivation, but conditions unavoidable for some in a wage-labor system, that not only discriminates, but gives those not born into wealth, less of a chance at the American dream.
Without such experiences to draw upon, Willard Romney recently was videotaped saying 47% of Americans are on welfare, lazy, and are not motivated enough to earn the successes his father bestowed upon him. Not only is the statement terrifyingly inhumane, and a good barometer of your own humanity, it's factually incorrect by a large margin.
First what is welfare, is corporate bailouts with tax payers' money welfare? Is supplying boots to soldiers with tax payers' money welfare? Or are we speaking about the 15% of our population that receives food stamps? Or perhaps he was talking about the 47% of unemployed households who also receive food stamps, but that's only 2% of our entire population?
Maybe Willard was referring to the Americans on Medicaid, who also receive food stamps or other forms of social welfare, but that would still be less than 6% of our total population. I'm not sure what Willard was referring to, or why he would want to alienate 146 million potential voters, but I am sure his facts are completely batshit, just like his ideologies.
Unfortunately conservatives, who are most likely in the 47% Romney is referring to, will blindly vote for Willard, because they see no other "choices". While I cannot blame my Republican friends from feeling that way, I can assure them that v

oting for Romney is the same as a vote for President Obama.
Neither Presidential candidate is going to take us from a cronie-capitalistic market, ruled by a corporate oligarch, to a free market, under the rule of a democratic Republic. The difference is that President Obama will not tell you this, he'll continue to smile and "feel your pain", while Willard with hand firmly planted on the back of your head, will rub your face in that fact.

Tact is a crucial skill politician are required to possess and wield expertly, no amount of money in the world can compensate for it – and it's why Willard will not be our next President.
Our populous is ignorant, borderline dumb, unaware, or just not interested in how government works, and it's the main reason government doesn't work. Using tact to manipulate and deceive this ignorant mass of voters, is a required skill to win a modern day election.
So, unless Willard can get real with himself, walk in the shoes of your average Joe, and really understand what's important to Main Street Americans, this election might already be over.
