Born and raised in Hoboken, New Jersey and of Cuban-American decent, Darlena studied at City University Of New York, The Lee Strasberg Institute and she's a lifetime member of the The Actor Studio.
Her acting career began on the small screen with the contract role of "Anita Santos" on All My Children. From there her work included Crossing Jordan, NYPD Blue, Nip/ Tuck, Las Vegas, Medium, Ugly Betty, Bones, Criminal Minds, Strong Medicine, Soccer Moms (pilot), How I Met Your Mother, Trauma, and more.
Our co-founder's film credits include Starsky & Hutch, the German comedy 100 Pro, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry and most recently Star Trek under the direction of J.J. Abrams. Check out a few clips here!
Darlena, together with co-founder Aaron Stipkovich, brings her vision and perspective to the AND publications as the definitive "target audience" for the publication. Her demure charm and innate intelligence of humanity are the cornerstones of AND Magazine.
