Ashley is a student of life and whatever ignites her passion in the moment. Her formal education is in research psychology, human biology, economics and international affairs… and there was massage therapy, eastern medicine and human services, but that was a long time ago. She graduated from Queens University of Charlotte, magna cum laude and is currently attending Columbia University in New York.
Ashley wrote her first poem when she was eight years old. As she was ever the patriot (freedom lover is more like it), it was titled “Liberty.” This was immediately followed by the existential “Blue Walls.”
Politically, Ashley is an Independent and can see validity in arguments on both sides. She does not pretend to have all the answers and thinks, in fact, we should ask more questions. She attempts to be unbiased and can usually admit when she is not.
For work, Ashley works on a number of different projects in a desperate attempt to live in NYC and create a life she loves. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys volunteering and currently serves on the Advisory Board for Grameen America, Charlotte.
