Joshua M. Patton is both a freelance writer and veteran of the US Army. He currently studies at the University of Pittsburgh where his writing won a creative writing award, read the winning entry on the radio, and showed these kids how to drink beer like a pro. And he passed on the opportunity to be published in the original Chicken Soup for the Soul, because he was behind on 10th-grade Algebra. He had to repeat the class anyway
