Tatiana was born in a snow-capped town in Japan before island hopping her way through the South Pacific to being landlocked in snow-capped Minnesota.
Tatiana attended Macalester College where she painted the Twin Cities red each week as The Mac Weekly’s Arts Editor for four years. Eventually promoted to Editor-In-Chief, she brought her ambition and love of quality journalism mixed with design to the table and revolutionized the publication.
Tatiana has interviewed entertainment luminaries including Peter Jackson, Jason Reitman, Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Miley Cyrus, Topher Grace, Michelle Rodriguez, Whoopi Goldberg, and myriad others. She is thrilled that her zeal for entertainment has brought her such incredible opportunities and cannot wait for the future.
Among her greatest accomplishments, Tatiana completed her first feature-length screenplay at the age of 22 and is currently at work on another.
Tatiana loves being a part of the things she writes about. Without doubt, Tatiana’s ambition and passion keep her afloat and thriving while juggling all her creative tasks at once. Not only has she worked on music videos for Bon Iver and Tapes ‘N Tapes, but she also is working towards putting her own film concepts into production.
Trekking throughout Europe in a pair of designer boots, Tatiana honed her international eye for style while living in London and Florence and making appearances in Paris, Rome, Lyon, Milan and other historic cities. She also had the immense pleasure of reporting at London Fashion Week in 2010. Now back across the pond, Tatiana reports on fashion events in the United States and keeps a style and entertainment blog.
And while Tatiana loves entertainment, fashion, and art, her education at Macalester keeps her grounded and ever-searching for the truth and social implications behind the news and arts culture.
Tatiana’s work has appeared in print and online at publications including City Pages, Cliché Magazine, Twin Cities Daily Planet, The Mac Weekly and more. She also reports for Us Weekly when celebrities put on their snow boots and venture into the Minnesotan tundra.
