I am a freelance writer based in the Orlando area. I write on a broad range of topics including lifestyle, finance, humor, travel, food, education, and teens. I have co-created two blogs, Adult Onset Poverty (www.adultonsetpoverty.com) and It’s Just Not Cute (www.itsjustnotcute.com).
Adult Onset Poverty is based on my humorous tales of my financial woes as the unemployed and underemployed. It’s Just Not Cute is a tongue-in-cheek blog offering real advice sprinkled in with some humor for young girls ages 12 and up. I have been hired as a staff writer for the website Volusia County Moms (www.volusiacountymoms.com). In addition, I also have been hired to write for a Natural Hair blog. The blog will consist of natural hair products, reviews, style, maintenance as well as beauty, makeup, nails, and skincare.
Prior to becoming a writer, my experiences have led me to different fields of work. I have worked in education, finance, and for non-profit organizations. I continue to grow my love and passion for writing. I am excited to work for diverse groups of people and committed to the type of writing that is needed.
