A mixture of cultures has influenced everything about Nadia Boulejiouch. Born in New York, and raised in the Caribbean by her Moroccan family and Harlem raised stepfather she has learned that you are a citizen of the world and no border is beyond jumping. After having moved back to New York to study fashion at Parsons School of Design she began a series of fashion internships and positions within the design and production world. But that wasn’t enough. After backpacking through South America she set her sights on working in Buenos Aires. It was the perfect combination of European influence, Latin American values and an eclectic style, which is the reason BA is labeled “the Paris of the South”. After landing a position working as a Women’s Designer in Buenos Aires for the oldest fashion house she immersed herself in the unassuming chic of the city; thus, expanding her own design sense. A year later she was ready for a new adventure and she opted for a completely different lifestyle in the city of angels. There she began using her experience to write for fashion magazines. But New York always beckons, and with her closet in hand and nothing else she moved back to the mecca of fashion to take everything she has learned and make a name for herself. There is no point in limiting yourself to one style or even one home, take everything you can from this world and live each day in someone else’s shoes.
