I have always had a great passion for writing. Whether it was articles, essays, stories, or even poems, I have found that writing has been my most effective strategy of expressing myself. Once I stumbled upon this job opportunity to be a fashion/style columnist, I knew i would be the perfect candidate, not only because of my writing talent, but because fashion is basically my second language. About a year and a half ago, my two best friends and I started our own business just as we were starting college. This venture just happened to be opening our own clothing and accessory boutique. Although to many it sounds like a spontaneous and childish move, however, little did everyone know, this was our first step into our lifelong dream. My partners and I have been best friends our entire lives and we always shared the same dream of owning our own clothing line and making a huge mark in the fashion industry. As young as twelve years old, one could find us in one of our basements drawing out designs and sewing. Throughout the years, this dream still very much lives inside of us, and opening our boutique gave us the start we needed. A position such as the one i am applying for cannot be fulfilled by any person sitting behind a computer with time to kill, it needs a person who lives for what they are writing; and the greatest fashion article will only come from a person who eats, breathes, and lives for fashion, and i can guarantee that person is me.
