I have been a creative all of my life. I draw, paint and then I write and play piano. When I was twelve years old my sister-in-law taught me to sew. That was a monumental event for me, and changed everything about how I looked at clothing and style. There was a period of time when I made practically everything in my wardrobe, and innovating and re-designing the patterns was more fun than just shopping.

Suffice it to say, my interests are varied enough to keep me busy and occupied for more hours than I can fit into a day.

Recently I have taken the big plunge and ventured into the realm of professional writing and blogging. My latest job is writing for a legal partnership, sort of rearranging content for them to make it more readable for their clients.

My career prior to this included interior design, both as a stylist and mural artist, fashion and salon work. Like most women I have a great love of shoes, although I have not yet attempted to make a pair.

I do make and design jewelry, and am currently fascinated with Steampunk.

I am a Beatles fanatic, adore the Tenth Doctor (Who? You may ask), and am hoping that the threat of a movie based on The Man from UNCLE won't result in something so horrible that the original stars die of embarrassment. Personally, I don't think there is another Illya Kuryakin.

I am still considering trying out for Project Runway.
