I am 26 and currently reside in New Delhi. Until recently I have been the head of the Research and Curatorial Department of a city based gallery. Additionally I have also been the chief editorial coordinator of Art Alive Publication’s upcoming book on Contemporary Indian Art, edited by Prof. Partha Mitter, Prof. Parul Dave Mukherji and Dr. Rakhee Balaram, announced to be released in Spring 2012 by Italy based Skira Publications (please see http://www.amazon.com/Twentieth-Century-Indian-Partha-Mitter/dp/8857210669/ref=sr_1_5?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1314863537&sr=1-5). Currently I work as a freelance writer and researcher. Some of my works have been published in the local print magazines 'the Caravan' and 'Down to Earth'. I also write on a regular basis for the international art ezine artslant.com.
I have a graduate degree in English Literature from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and a post graduate degree in Arts and Aesthetics from The School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
