Raised in the city of Burbank, CA, Lawrence Mendoza has always been an entrepreneur at heart. Starting his first business at the age of 13, Lawrence created his first company: Initial Servers.

Becoming enthralled with multiplayer video games, he eventually developed a following due to his charismatic nature and skill that it became inevitable companies would recognize his potential and sought to sponsor him. Self-taught in the trade of the web, he clearly became ahead of the game before the .com boom was considered as a source of information to the general public.

Riding the wave known as the Internet, business was thriving.

Adapting. This is the key to stay ahead of the game and Lawrence knew this at an early age. Profits were decent from the web hosting service he provided, but it wasn’t enough. Looking through forums for more information, graphics design was what caught his eye. Motivated with competition, learning Photoshop among other software at the time is what took him to the next level.

Coming to the realization that this is another service he could provide, he opened his next venture: Initial Source. This is where he learned how to combine his networking, marketing, project management and consulting skills; and over time, refine it to master his craft. Resource hiring and outsourcing inevitably became the next step to keep up with the demands. Over time, life came into play and the business became moot due to the competitive market and lack of time. The skills attained through the ordeal would benefit Lawrence for his coming years.

Lawrence is now the Marketing Strategist for ESM. Ever the entrepreneur, he finds himself best when helping others achieve their dream.
