My interest in fashion and journalism began at an early age. It took some time for me to then weave together my interest in politics and culture into a love for writing and expressing myself. I always won the Halloween costume contests, with homemade costumes and I took my first class in Journalism in junior high. Something about that class was unique and I really loved it. After graduating form the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, I was working in the fashion industry as a wardrobe stylist. I also freelanced as a Stylist/Fashion Editor for fashion trade publications and I began writing poetry. I had many pieces published in Anthologies but it wasn't until 13 years later in 2008 that I was finally published. I found myself transported from behind the camera as a stylist to a background actor on Mad Men. My love for fashion, especially vintage fashion was again ignited. To this day I still hope to have my own fashion line. Working in the television and film industry enabled me to meet an Editor of Revolutimes.com, Jenny Worman. I was asked to contribute to the Entertainment Section of the new online site. I have contributed pieces to the Entertainment and News Sections.
