Dana Elizabeth has worked with many outlets. Previously she was a contributing fashion editor for Essential Homme -men’s magazine. She was also a Junior editor at Coolhunt.net. As well as a Contributing Writer for StyleCabana.com Some of her features have included: William Rast & Target a collaboration, Ben Minkoff - by Rebbeca Minkoff, P.F. Flyers and Bleu de Panama, New Balance and J. Crew, Hessnatur - Making hesstory, snow boarding apparel company 686. Her work can be seen in such magazines as: Essential Homme, Cosmopolitan-Hong Kong, and soon to be seen in: Marie Claire -China, and MR- China.
She earned a B.F.A in Fashion design from Woodbury University with an emphasis in creative writing. In her short yet prominent career she has cultivated her love for art and design through many mediums. In recent years she was sole costumer for the first ever Emmy winning web-series, Satacracy 88 which took home the 2007 Emmy, for best broad-band drama.
In 2008 she was head costumer for Story an independent feature film. Then in 2009 she interned for famous L.A. based brand Ed Hard - Air Fresh LLC. as a graphic designer working on various T-shirt designs for their new lines, A&G and Ana. M. with a special line for Platinum Motor Sports.
In 2010 Dana finished as one of the top ten contenders in the Clean & Clear challenge, hosted by the GenArt Association.
In early 2010 Dana launched wordsfromtherunway with the hope of shedding light on new and up coming Los Angeles based designers. Since then Dana has covered many events including all of Loa Angeles fashion week and has featured several Los Angeles fashion designers and companies on her website. She continues to write in her free time and dedicates most of her time to designing and cultivating her love for art and design.
