My name is Justin Howard, I am freelance journalist with extensive experience in the fashion industry.
I have had the pleasure of working with Mercedes-Benz Los Angeles Fashion Week to create a Runway shows that have features several designers like Project Runway Winner Jeffrey Sebelia's lines Good Wig, Cosa Nostra collections, and such well known international fashion brand like Bebe in a runway that showed off 36 looks and made the cover of the LA Times Lifestyle Section.
As a fashion stylist I love being able to design and deliver a marvelous outfit that makes my clients Actress Kayla Tabish of 'The Girl Next Door', MTV's Teen Wolf star Keahu Kahuanui as well as Ariel Winters from Modern Family look great.
Currently I am costume designing on a indie film project feature Oscar Award winning Sally Kirkland.
Working as a freelance Style Correspondent in Los Angeles for the past couple years has granted me a deeper insight on how to promote and establish an audience, especially with me appearing on such programs as Fashion Police on E!, MSNBC and channels like Fashion TV and iTV. I
I write the San Diego Gay Travel Column for The Clarity News Group, which owns The San Francisco Examiner as well as Examiner.Com.
For MSNBC I write 'Made in LA,' an insiders guide to Hollywood which has been featured on the Rachel Maddow show.
In addition to writing for The Clarity News Group, I just finished a 2 year and half long run in May as the top Fashion & Lifestyle Columnist for Today.Com under the title of The Fashionista 411.
I run a Fashion & Lifestyle site for Fashionistas and the men who love them called, The Fashionista 411, www.fashionista411.com.
As the content editor & travel columnist for GayTravel.Com I had the pleasure of coordinating and developing the content and social media aspects for the relaunch of the largest interactive Gay Travel site online.
