I previously studied 'International Politics & Computer Science' as an undergraduate at Keele University, UK - www.keele.ac.uk & an M.A. in 'The Chinese Business World' at SOAS, University of London - www.soas.ac.uk. I have approx. 15 years working experience, including teaching, IT & with both for and non-profit organizations, including 7 years living in China. I also recently spent 1 year in Mexico in 2010/11 as a Wheat Atlas intern/consultant at www.cimmyt.org. I speak intermediate Chinese & Farsi, basic Spanish and enjoy traveling, drumming, singing, swimming/scuba diving, audiobooks & playing football/tennis & with gadgets, including mobile device/social media/pod & vod-casting projects. I am a vegetarian and a member of the Baha'i Faith (www.bahai.org), for which I strive to actively participate in community development (please feel free to contact me if you you'd like to learn more about the Baha'i Faith). A British-born Citizen of Persian descent & US permanent resident, I'm in the process of arranging to teach at university level in Honolulu & online, do freelance work (also, contact me for collaboration/projects) and also applying to start Ph.D. study for Fall 2012. I look forward to hearing from/connecting with you! :)
