Based in California, the Ohio native, Melanie Dameron has been writing fiction, non-fiction and poetry since 1992 under the pseudonyms TF Black and Tabrett F. Black. Her poems have been published in the poetry anthology “A Shimmer on the Horizon.” Melanie is an entrepreneur, freelance writer, columnist, local television series producer, holistic health and wellness and social issues advocate. Ms. Dameron co-produced a religious series, Sunday Worship, for Access Monterey Peninsula in 2008. She has written her first book, “Swept Under the Carpet,” to be released in 2010. The book is based on a true story of one person’s struggle with domestic violence. She is currently in production on her second book, “Keep the Faith,” the non-fiction collaboration regarding the same social concern to be released late 2010.
Ms. Dameron's career began in Medical Assisting and moved into Information Systems and technical writing for Real Estate Development and Consulting companies in 1990. Her current focus is the pursuit of her Masters in English Professional Writing at the University of San Francisco.
Melanie has a love for gourmet cooking, great wine and fabulous martinis. She enjoys sports, photography, travel and everything Beledi.
