Melissa's editorial work, which focuses on design, travel and culture, has appeared in both print and online publications. Writing is second nature to Melissa, who wrote her first few articles at the age of nine. Her affinity for turning words into works of art, untamable curiosity, and thirst for adventure meant she was born to be a writer.
Her love for fashion led her to study fashion journalism at Central Saint Martins in London. As a writer, she hunts for life's design luxuries, from bespoke fashions to fine architectural interiors. Melissa considers herself a perpetual student, thus she continues to explore, dabble and absorb knowledge indefatigably.
Before becoming a writer, Melissa worked as a fashion model for the likes of Carolina Herrera, GAP, MAC Cosmetics and Vanity Fair. Her favorite pastimes include sailing in the San Francisco Bay and defending fashion from people who deem it as "all too shallow."
Her articles can be also found on Fashion TV, California Home & Design Magazine and The Fashion Spot.
