A St. Louis native who’s lived in the Bay Area for 5 years, she’s received an MFA in Writing from California College of the Arts in 2007. She was a participant in the 2010 Intergenerational Writer’s Lab at the Intersection for the Arts in San Francisco and her writing appears in its online anthology, Know the Names of Things.
She enjoys volunteering for La Casa De Las Madres, one of California’s oldest domestic violence shelters for women. She is currently working on two novels-in-progress.
