Meagan Adele Lopez grew up in Baltimore, MD and attended the performing arts high school Baltimore School for the Arts as a Theatre major. She moved to Los Angeles in 2000 to attend University of Southern California as a National Hispanic Scholar, and double majored in Theatre and French. After 2 years of college, New York was calling her. She was hired to stage manage an Off-Broadway show that summer at the LAByrinth Theater Company. When other offers started to come in the form of lighting design, assistant directing and stage management, she decided to take a hiatus from college and work for the year.

When the year was finished, she applied for an exchange program through USC to study at the Sorbonne and L'ecole Florent in Paris for 2004. She was accepted and took classes in Film, Literature, and Theatre, traveled around Europe and became fluent in French.

During her final year at USC, she became an intern in casting with Mark Saks (Medium, Numb3rs, Related). She was then hired as his casting assistant. Since then, she has worked in casting for Gillian O'Neill (feature film AmericanEast starring Tony Shalhoub, Anthony Azizi and Sarah Shahi), and Mindy Marin at Bluewater Ranch (Alien Vs. Predator 2, Juno, Wanted, Jennifer's Body, Max Payne, X-Files: I Want to Believe and The Day the Earth Stood Still).

In December 2008, she packed her bags and moved to England where she now resides. She no longer works in casting, but has moved on to her new passion - writing, and is in the midst of completing her first novel. Frequenting the London scene, she has also become very interested in fashion, in addition to running half marathons and tea.
